What is the Walmart Spark Good Round Up Program?
The Walmart Spark Good Round Up is a program that allows for Walmart customers who are shopping online (or through the Walmart app) to round up their checkout total to the nearest dollar, and donate their spare change to the nonprofit of their choice.

How is Network for Good partnered with Walmart?
Network for Good, which operates as a 501(c)(3) Donor Advised Fund, has partnered with Walmart to disburse the charitable donations made through the Spark Good Round Up program to eligible nonprofits.

How do nonprofits register for Round Up?
Nonprofits can register for the Round Up program directly through Walmart’s website!
You will want to navigate to https://www.walmart.com/nonprofits and click on the blue “Get Started” button to begin the registration process.
If your organization already has an account established with Walmart and their Spark Good program, you can also select the option to “Sign In” below the “Get Started” button.
When will my nonprofit receive donations?
Network for Good disbursed donated funds via grants from the Walmart Spark Good Round Up program once per quarter. This disbursement takes place in the month immediately following the end of a quarter – so disbursements will be as follows:
- Donations collected between January – March: Disbursed in April
- Donations collected between April – June: Disbursed in July
- Donations collected between July – September: Disbursed in October
- Donations collected between October – December: Disbursed in January
Does Network for Good provide reporting?
Yes, Network for Good provides reporting to all nonprofits that receive donations through the Walmart Spark Good Program via our free disbursement portal.
To access this reporting, you will be required to sign in (or register, if you have not already) using your organization’s EIN.
Please note that this portal uses a different login (Organization’s EIN, NOT email address) to access your organization’s reports. For more information on how to utilize our disbursement portal, please check out our accompanying guide here.

What do Spark Good Donations look like through Network for Good’s reporting tools?
Donations made through the Walmart Spark Good Program are reported without identifying information to Network for Good prior to disbursement, so the donations will reflect as “anonymous anonymous” on your reporting tools, and the date may not reflect the actual date of the donation.
NOTE: The Network for Good Support Team is unable to provide any further identifying information in regards to the donations received through Spark Good.
