How Do I Set up DonateNow Lite?

Note: To use the DonateNow Lite service, your organization must be listed on GuideStar (www.guidestar.org). In order for an organization to be listed on GuideStar, it must have received 501(c)3 status from the IRS as a sole nonprofit entity. Unfortunately, we are unable to list programs, groups, or departments that are not recognized by the IRS as 501(c)3 exempt organizations in their own right. If you would like to receive donations via a Fiscal Sponsor, please use our Everyday Giving service.

If you have not yet registered for your DonateNow Lite account, instructions for that process may be found here.

STEP ONE: Create Your Link 

 To create your organization's DonateNow Lite URL, simply add your organization's EIN (Employer Identification Number) to the end of the following URL. Remember to test the link before you add it to your website.

 -Add Your EIN:

https://www.networkforgood.org/donation/ExpressDonation.aspx?ORGID2=your_ein_goes_here  

 -Example Link:

https://www.networkforgood.org/donation/ExpressDonation.aspx?ORGID2=77-0084637

 Please note that the DonateNow URL should be linked to directly and not inserted into a frameset. Now you can add this link with a button to your website. 

STEP TWO: Choose an Image

 To use one of the images below, you will need to right-click on the image to save it to your computer and place it on your website (you may need help from your webmaster) where you would like the DonateNow button to appear.

Update Your GuideStar Nonprofit Report

To make the most of Network for Good’s service, you should make sure that your GuideStar Nonprofit Report is updated so that donors coming to our website and partner sites get the most up-to-date information about your charity.  You can update your GuideStar information by visiting http://www.guidestar.org and log in. After logging in (or registering if you haven't already), please follow the online instructions for updating your GuideStar listing.
