On September 30, 2018 customers with EventsNow subscriptions will no longer be able to log in to EventsNow, manage events, or create new events. If you have any active or scheduled event pages after August 31, 2018, please contact us [here]. We’ve got a transition plan for you.
Why is this happening?
Network for Good partners with giveZooks! to power our events tool, EventsNow. giveZooks! will be discontinuing service to EventsNow customers in 2018.
What will happen to all my event ticketing data?
All event ticketing data will be inaccessible to customers after September 30 through the DonateNow dashboard. When you take advantage of this special offer for our all-in-one fundraising platform, you will have access to this historical ticketing information through our Donor Management System. If you choose not to upgrade your Network for Good subscription, we highly recommend exporting this information from EventsNow before September 30.
What about events I have already set up that have an end date after September 30?
You may still use your live EventsNow pages to sell tickets and you will still get your disbursement on the regular schedule for any events that have end dates after September 30. However, you will not be able to log in, edit, or access reports related to your event after September 30. Because of this, we highly recommend launching any new events from Network for Good’s newer Event Ticketing Pages so you have access to edit and view ticketing details. Furthermore, all events on EventsNow must have an end date before December 31, 2018. After December 31, 2018 any “live” EventsNow pages will be shut down.
Does this impact my other Network for Good donation pages?
No. Customers with subscriptions to DonateNow or our newer Fundraising Pages product (Everyday Giving Pages, Event Ticketing, or Peer-to-Peer) will not experience an interruption to these services.
What are my options for selling tickets to fundraising events after September 30?
We’re giving all EventsNow customers the option to upgrade to our all-in-one fundraising platform which includes a Donor Management System, Event Ticketing Pages, Everyday Giving Pages, and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Campaign Pages at a special price. Or, you can simply replace EventsNow with our newer Event Ticketing Pages at no charge. Keep in mind, the EventsNow tool and the newer Event Ticketing Pages do have different features and we recommend upgrading to our all-in-one fundraising platform so you can seamlessly send out emails to event attendees and keep them engaged after the event, segments contact lists, and more.
