We recently learned that one or more individuals falsely claiming to work for “Network for Good” are conducting a so-called mystery shopper scam to defraud people. They recruit someone online for a paid “retail survey” job, send a forged payment check in the mail, and then trick the person into sending back something of value (like an iTunes gift card) before discovering the forged check has bounced. These individuals are not associated in any way with Network for Good, and we have no retail survey program. Please beware of this criminal activity. It has been reported to law enforcement.
If you wish to learn more or believe that you may be a victim, we encourage you to visit the U.S. Postal Inspection Service website where you can submit a complaint. Please be sure to reference case number 2227035-CYBR.
